Forced Sterilization Program

[edit]

Why is there no mention of her forced sterilization program in 1975? Her government forced around 11 million men to to become sterile, and thousands died due to surgical complications. See here for info (bottom of the article has other sources): https://edtimes.in/various-wrong-things-sanjay-gandhi-did-in-1975-to-control-population/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.19.5.169 (talk) 23:01, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Online poll

[edit]

Why is there an online poll from 1999 of BBC website users in this article? Thenightaway (talk) 01:19, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That BBC poll is historical and concerns a broad subject highly relevant for this article. Don't see anything wrong with it. Ratnahastin (talk) 08:14, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I strongly disagree that there's anything historic, notable or meaningful about a self-selected website poll. Thenightaway (talk) 12:54, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistent number of bullets bullet numbers

[edit]

In the article: "Beant shot her three times using his side-arm; Satwant fired 30 rounds." But shortly after: "The post-mortem examination was conducted by a team of doctors headed by Tirath Das Dogra. ... The assailants had fired 31 bullets at her"

The article specifically on her assassination is clear that she was shot three times by Beant and then, after she fell, 30 times by Satwant. 50.47.242.53 (talk) 17:50, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
