Leopolis

[edit]

Should it mention that it also has the name Leopolis? It only mentions it indirectly. Benjamin (talk) 10:40, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ukrainian?

[edit]

Lwów was in fact restored by Daniel, after demolition done by Tatars in 1240. Not founded. The whole area was inhabited by Laches, ancestors of Poles and only in 981 was conquered by Ruthenians.85.135.249.114 (talk) 19:46, 19 September 2024 (UTC)Mac[reply]

"Львов", "Lvov"

[edit]

Can you explain to me why the article has the Russian version of the city's name? Were Russians the original and historical residents of Lviv? You don't use German names in an article about European cities just because they were once occupied by the Nazis in WW II, do you? 92.253.236.238 (talk) 12:43, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
