Not to be confused with Robbie Williams. For other people named Robin Williams, see Robin Williams (disambiguation).
This looks like someone a far less famous person would have put on in order to get more attention. As in "if Robbie Williams is famous enough to even be marginally confused with Robin Williams, he must be famous".
My intention is to remove this, unless there is some sort of compelling reason not to. There is not a person on the planet who would confuse Robin Williams with anyone, or anyone with him. Where there is no ambiguity a disambiguity statement is itself factually incorrect in its premise.

I'm sorry but I disagree. Not everyone who comes to the English Wikipedia knows everything about whatever celebrity or knows how to exactly spell whichever celebrity's name. In my opinion Rob/Robbie/Robin/Robert coupled with a last name spelled exactly the same is enough to necessitate a "not to be confused with" along with disambiguation page or pages. - Shearonink (talk) 03:13, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
